Privacy policy

Last updated: October 29, 2026

Short version: this site doesn't collect much. There's no contact form, no newsletter, and no tracking cookies. If you book a call, cal.com handles that booking.

Who runs this site

Legal Practice SEO (legalpracticeseo.com) is run by Hiren Thakkar, an independent SEO consultant based in India who works with law firms in the United States. In this policy, "I" and "me" means Hiren Thakkar.

What this site collects

The pages on this site don't ask you for anything. There are no forms, no sign-ups and no comment boxes.

Like almost every website, the company that hosts it may keep basic server logs: your IP address, browser type, the page you asked for and the time. Hosts use these to keep the site running and to block abuse. I don't use them to identify you.

This site doesn't set cookies and doesn't run advertising or tracking scripts. If I add privacy-friendly analytics later, I'll update this page first.

Booking a call

The "Book a call" buttons take you to cal.com, a separate scheduling service. When you book, cal.com collects what you type into its booking form, usually your name, email address, firm website and any notes you add, and sends it to me so we can have the call.

cal.com handles that data under its own privacy policy. Calendar invites and video links may also go through Google, Zoom or whichever tool the booking uses.

How I use what you send

  • To prepare for and hold the call, including looking at your website and your public search rankings.
  • To follow up about the call, if you asked me to or we agreed to work together.
  • To keep basic business records.

I don't sell your information, rent it out, or add you to a mailing list.

Who else sees it

Only the services needed to run the call and my business: cal.com, my calendar and video provider, and email. I don't share it with anyone for marketing. I'd only hand it over if the law required me to.

How long I keep it

If we don't end up working together, I delete your booking details within 12 months. If we do, I keep what I need for as long as we work together, plus what I'm required to keep for tax and accounting.

Your choices

You can ask me what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Depending on where you live, for example California, the EU or the UK, you may have extra rights under local law, and I'll respect them.

The easiest way to ask is to reply to any email I've sent you, or to mention it when you book. I'll reply within 30 days.

Children

This site is for law firms. It isn't meant for anyone under 18, and I don't knowingly collect information from children.

Links to other sites

This site links to other websites, including cal.com. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.

Changes

If I change how this site handles data, I'll update this page and the date at the top.
